PM inaugurates GB CPEC Police Hqs

GILGIT, May 19 (APP): Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday inaugurated the Gilgit-Baltistan CPEC patrolling police headquarters.

Inspector General Gilgit Baltistan Zafar Iqbal Awan briefed the Prime Minister about the working and composition of the new force that would patrol the 439-kilometer stretch of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

The Prime Minister was informed that the patrolling force would comprise around 300 personnel and would ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic on the road.
