Peak generation stands at 14649 MW in May

ISLAMABAD, May 14 (APP):The Spokesman for Minister of Water and Power has said that heat wave was being tackled with better power generation management.

The peak power generation stood at 14649 MW as compared to 12025 MW last year during May resulting in an increase of 2624 MW.

The spokesman said that over temperature in the country has also increased as compared to last year and we were having temperatures of June in May, said a statement issued here Saturday.
