RAWALPINDI, May 05 (APP):A woman and a young boy embraced ‘Shahadat’ (martyrdom) when Indian Army resorted to unprovoked fire in Hotsprings and Kotkotera sectors along Line of Control (LOC) on Sunday.
According to a statement issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army targeted civil population and as a result of that 45-year-old Nasreen Bibi and 12-year-old boy Muhammad Zahid son of Shabbair Ahmed embraced Shahadat. While another lady Ms Sonia Bibi sustained serious injuries.
Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and targeted those posts, which initiated fire. Intermittent firing continues, the ISPR statement said.
