GILGIT, Apr 21 (APP):Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Climate Changes Malik Ameen Aslam Sunday said that two billion trees would be planted in Gilgit Baltistan under clean and green Pakistan campaign.
He said this in a ceremony held here at Altit Hunza.
He briefed that Hunza district has been declared plastic free zone.
Ameen Aslam said that under the vision of PM Pakistan it is an excellent initiative and appreciated the Hunza community for their advanced step.
He said that without active cooperation of local communities it was impossible to take such a huge step.
He said that under vision clean and green Pakistan we planted ten billion trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that with the cooperation of Chinese government new public parks would be constructed in GB.
