BJP’s attempt to win polls through war hysteria, false claim of downing F-16 backfires: PM

ISLAMABAD, Apr 6 (APP):Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s attempt to win election through war hysteria and false claims of downing Pakistan’s F-16 aircraft had backfired.
“The truth always prevails and is always the best policy. BJP’s attempt to win elections through whipping up war hysteria and false claims of downing a Pak F 16 has backfired,” he said in a tweet.
He said the count by the US Defence officials also confirmed that no F-16 aircraft was missing from Pakistan’s fleet.
