Special prayers and Mahafil were organised in various mosques, including Badshahi Masjid, Data Darbar Masjid, Mian Mir Sahib Masjid, Masjid Wazir Khan, Minhajul Quran, to seek blessings of Allah, The Almighty.

Islamic scholars highlighted the importance of the night and its blessings.

Different Islamic organizations also arranged special prayers and sittings (Mahafil) at mosques and at other places.

People observed the night by distributing sweets and other food items among relatives, neighbors and needy people.
