Pakistan’s economy soon be on track: Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI, April 3(APP):Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Wednesday said the country’s economy would be on track soon after signing agreement with International Monetary Fund.
He said while addressing as chief guest during the oath taking ceremony of Anjuman Tajran, Sarafa bazaar here the other day.
The minister said the PTI government was taking historical steps to bring the country out of many crises, it had inherited.
He said though the economy of Pakistan was currently in a critical phase but hopefully it would soon be back on track.
He said the previous governments had destroyed the economy of the country, adding 2019 would be the year of Imran Khan’s success.
Sheikh said he always did positive politics and never supported any mafia in the city. He said, ‘I have requested the prime minister to inaugurate the Mother and Child Hospital while Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman would inaugurate a college at station road on April 12.
The minister said despite financial crunch “We have added 24 new trains on track while 16 more trains would be started soon.”
He said new wires and transformers would be installed in Sarafa bazaar to resolve the issue of power loadshedding.
Commenting on differences among PTI’s leadership, he said the PTI is a big party and it was not a matter of serious concern.
Later, the minister administered the oath from the newly elected body of the traders.
