ISLAMABAD, April 2 (APP):Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted to work for the betterment of Karachiites in collaboration with all political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

But he accused the PPP led government in Sindh for non cooperation in the development projects being initiated in the metropolitan city.

The minister said the people of Karachi were still deprived of basic amenities due to bad governance in Sindh.

Replying to a question, he said the federal government was committed to initiate a number of development projects in Karachi as it was an economical hub of the country.

There was dire need to resolve the issues of electricity, water, sewerage and transport in order to provide immediate relief to Karachiites, he added.

The centre had asked the Sindh government to put forward its suggestions regarding the “economical package” announced by it for the largest and most populated city of the country, he maintained.
