SC asks respondents to address matter of lower court’s service rules with understanding

ISLAMABAD, April 1 (APP):Supreme Court Monday asked the federal government and other respondents to address the issue of services rules of lower courts with mutual understandings and adjourned hearing of the case for four weeks.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa observed that it was necessary to introduce amendment for changing in above law. It was better if the government and other respondent address the issue with mutual consultation, he said.
During hearing, the counsel of lower court’s judges, Naeem Bukhari pleaded before the bench that the above matter didn’t fall into the matters of public interests.
He argued that the federal government had not yet started the practice to introduce amendment in service rules of lower court’s judges.
The bench, however, asked the all respondents to resolve the issue with understanding and adjourned the case for four weeks.
