ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (APP):Lights of Parliament House were switched off Saturday night from 8:30 to 9:30 pm to observe Earth Hour.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri lighted a candle to show commitment of the Parliament of Pakistan to join hands with the world for energy conservation, combating of climate change and global warming.
Every year Earth Hour is observed and governments and public and private organizations hold events to create awareness about ways to protect the environment.
