IPC Minister message on Punjab Games

LAHORE, Mar 26 (APP):Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination, Dr F Fehmida Mirza said on Tuesday that sports activities have always been instrumental in character building
of the upcoming generations of a vibrant society.
In her message to the officials of the Punjab Olympic Association, the organizers of the Punjab Games being held next month here, she said on Tuesday that such healthy activities perennially instill in the youngsters the high standard of team play and sportsman spirit besides improvement in strengthening social fabric.
“In a healthy society, sports activates play vital role towards national growth
and development which are demonstrated both national as well as internationally,” she said.
The Federal Minister said, “I would like to dilate upon the happiness in post toward the development of sports in the country.
Now spearheaded by a sportsman, the present government is fully committed to develop a sports culture in Pakistani society which would go a long way to change the overall national character of Pakistan. This would bring real ” Change” of repeated slogan of the Government.”
