FM condemns Christchurch terrorist attack

ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (APP):Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday condemned the terrorist attack on two Mosques in Christchurch and said he would be taking-up the matter with his New Zealand’s counterpart.
Talking to private news channel, he said he hoped that New Zealand government would bring the criminal to justice.
We stand by the families of the dead and injured and express our deepest condolences on the loss of precious lives, and pray for quick recovery of the wounded, he said.
Qureshi termed the terrorist-attack as a pre-planned activity and said attacking two Mosques at the same time did not look like an individual action.
Pakistan was in touch with the concerned authorities in New Zealand to obtain further information on the incident, he added.
He said such kind of incident was the first of its type in New Zealand’s history.
