Zulfi’s efforts bring fruits, 3 children released imprisoned in Saudi jail

ISLAMABAD, March 14 (APP):Three children Ayan, Mannan and Bushra were released who were in prison in Saudi Arabia under social protection department after taking up the issue by Pakistan overseas ministry.
They were detained in 2016 after their parents conviction in heroine smuggling case. Bushra has already been sent to Pakistan while Ayan and Manan are being proceeded Thursday, a press release issued here said.
Taking a serious notice of video clips circulating on social media regarding Pakistani women and children in Saudi jail, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Syed Zulfikar Ali Bukhari had asked Pakistanis Overseas Foundation managing director and community welfare attache in Jeddah to take up the issue with authorities concerned there.
Due to his personal interest, the immediate release of Ayan and Manan became possible.
