Reforms to be introduced to improve local bodies, police: Samsam Bokhari

ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP):Information Minister Punjab Syed Samsam Bukhari Monday said the government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) would introduce a new set of reforms and legislation to improve local bodies system and police department.

Talking to a private news channel, he said aim of the reforms would be to bring positive change in lives of the people.

The government was fully committed to transform police into a people friendly department, he stressed.

It was important that through legislation village councils were developed into vibrant institutions that resolve day to day problems of citizens, he added.
