Improvements in banking sector to bring about economic revolution

ISLAMABAD, Mar 09 (APP):Finance Minister, Asad Umar said Saturday that improvements in the banking sector would lead to economic revolution in the country.
According to press statement issued by the Finance Ministry here, the minister while addressing a function of Pakistan Business Council (PBC) in Karachi, said that that there was dire need to run the banking sector on modern lines.
He said, the economy of the country was suffering due to international situation and not because of political problems inside the country, he said while
He said that there was no clear policy for economic development, however added that the incumbent government has started working on economic reforms.
