PTI Govt believes in freedom of expression : Fawad

ISLAMABAD, Mar 8 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain on Friday said Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) government believed in the fundamental constitutional right of freedom of expression.
Talking to a delegation of the office bearers Bara Press Club from District Khyber, the minister said journalists of remote and backward areas should be provided facilities at local level so that they can perform professional duties in a better manner.
He said that journalists from Khyber District fought war against terrorism through the power of pen.
Paying tributes to the journalists who sacrificed their lives in line of duty, he said that special event would be organized to acknowledge sacrifices of martyred media persons.
