Shafqat stresses imparting skill to youth

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood Thursday said that youth are the future of country, therefore they should be skillful.
Addressing here the Pakistan National Final of Imagin Cup 2019 jointly organized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Microsoft, the minister said that higher education should be job oriented.
He said that besides improvement in quality education, it should also be effective for societal issues.
The Pakistani students and youth have enough potential, he added. He lauded the students work on the projects under which they made new models, saying that these models could be implemented from today.
He thanked the Chairman HEC Dr Tariq Banuri and Microsoft for organizing such kind of best event.
The world is seeing unbelievable change in Pakistan, he told.We have to play our role  collectively for the development of country, he concluded.
