ECP committed to support women participation in elections: CEC

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Chief Election Commissioner, Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan Thursday said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was committed to support women’s participation in elections.
Addressing a gathering at a seminar held at Election Commission of Pakistan to celebrate International Women’s Day, the CEC said that measures were needed to support women electoral participation.
He made a special mention of the Gender and Disability Electoral Working Group (GDEWG) and its members role including civil society for voter education and registration, especially that of women and marginalized groups.
