Corps Commanders’ Conference expresses resolve to defend motherland against any misadventure

RAWALPINDI, Mar 07 (APP):The 219th Corps Commanders’ Conference on Thursday expressed strong will, resolve and determination to defend the motherland against any misadventure or aggression.
The forum was presided over by Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar
Javed Bajwa here at the General Headquarters (GHQ), said a press release
issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The forum reviewed geo-strategic environment and situation due to ongoing
Pakistan India standoff. It expressed concerns on increased Indian atrocities
in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), post-Palwama incident and continued
deliberate targeting of civilians along Line of Control by Indian occupation
forces.
Continuity of such brutalities are only fueling the fire and need to be stopped
in the interest of regional peace which also merits world’s attention, the forum
added.
