Minister IT, CEO Smart Dubai discuss digital transformation of governance in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui had a meeting with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Smart Dubai, Wesam Al Abbas Lootah in Dubai and discussed digital transformation of governance in Pakistan.
Both Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Chief Executive Officer of Smart Dubai also discussed to expedite progression in this regard.
Dr Khalid Maqbool on his way back from Barcelona, Spain after attending the GSMA Ministerial Programme at World Congress, 2019 had a brief stopover at Dubai.
During meeting with Mr Lootah, the minister shared different initiatives undertaken by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications in Pakistan for digitalising government systems and processes, a message received here on Thursday said.
He appreciated the vision of top leadership of Dubai and United Arab Emirates (UAE) government for taking extraordinary measures in exemplary transformation of Dubai governance system.
