Parliamentarians warn India of severe consequences of future adventure; urge to wage war against poverty & unemployment

ISLAMABAD, Mar 01 (APP):Parliamentarians from both sides of aisle on Friday warned India of severe consequences in case of any further adventure and urged Indian PM Narendera Modi to join hands in waging war against poverty, unemployment and other menaces being confronted by both countries.
The parliamentarians said this while speaking to Joint Sitting of
Majlis-e-Shoora here on Friday.
Leader of the House in Senate Shibli Fraz Friday said that the country’s
defence has already been made impregnable and now focus of Pakistan
Tehreek-e-Insaf government was to make the country economically strong and robust.
Speaking at Joint Sitting of Parliament, he lauded Armed Forces response to Indian misadventures and regretted that International community did not take notice of Indian atrocities being committed against Kashmiris in occupied territory.
He said Pakistan Air Force’s response to the Indian aggression has proved
the level preparedness of Armed Forces to defend the homeland. Pakistan has always played a responsible role for peace and stability in the region, he added.
He however, regretted that Indian Prime Minister Narendera Modi always
sowed the seeds of hatred and violence. He urged India to shun jingoism and resolve the issues through diplomacy and dialogue.
Khawaja Mohammad Asif of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) hailed Foreign Minister’s abstaining from the ensuing meeting of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Foreign Minister’s Council.
Khawaja Asif said Pakistan has emerged victorious from the deadliest war
against terrorism.
Stressing peace and reconciliation with India, he recalled that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ridiculed for offering reconciliation, peace and dialogue to India.
Lauding consensus among opposition, government and civil society, he said such atmosphere would help ensure lasting peace in South Asia.
Sabir Qaim Khani of MQM called for a befitting reply to any future misadventure as the whole nation was ready to offer every sacrifice for the security of the country.
He said Indian misadventures have not only united the entire country but
also reinvigorated the same passion that existed during the Pakistan Movement in 1947.
Tahir Bizinjo of National Party asked international community to play its role for resolution of longstanding Kashmir dispute. Kashmir issue was a political one and it has no military solution, he added. The joint enemies of Pakistan and India were poverty, hunger, unemployment and terrorism, he said.
Abdul Ghafoor Haideri of JUI (F) said the armed forces were fully
capable to respond to any foreign aggression. He said “We are proud of our air force for giving a knee jerk response to the Indian aggression.”
He said his party had reservations on early release of Indian pilot Abhinandan as the Indians were saying Pakistan was compelled to release him due to fear of Indian retaliation.
Senator Mushahidullah Khan of PML-N stressed resolving issues through
dialogue. Criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendera Modi, he said India has only produced persons like Abhinandan while Pakistan has produced persons like Hassan Siddique.
He wondered why Indians were terming Kashmir as their integral part when they keep on dissecting it by killing Kashmiris and needed 700,000 forces to keep integral part with them.
