Foreign minister terms ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ blessing for the poor

RAJANPUR, Feb 22 (APP)::Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday said ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ is a blessing for the poor people, as nothing matches a good health.
Speaking in Seraiki at the opening ceremony of the Sehat Card at Rajanpur on Friday, he said that the downtrodden and deprived masses of the district besides rest of the province would benefit from the card.
The foreign minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would provide economically deprived sections of society their due rights.
The prime minister was implementing the scheme in under-developed regions of the country on priority basis, he said and added that Rajanpur was the first district of south Punjab where Sehat Card scheme was being launched.Qureshi said that ailments forced the poor people to live below the poverty line, adding that health was the greatest wealth.
Owing to the initiatives being taken by the government, Sindh and Balochistan bordering district would also develop soon, he said adding that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also hailed from the same area.
He said that the CM was himself a Baloch and was fully aware of the traditions of the tribal society.
He was also aware of the issues of this under developed belt, he added.
The foreign minister hoped that the CM would not disappoint the people, who had elected him.
When he asked the audience about setting up of the south Punjab province, people responded positively with slogans.
About creation of the south Punjab province, the minister said that it was part of PTI’s manifesto, which would be implemented at all costs.
Criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-N move of establishing Bahawalpur and south Punjab provinces in National Assembly by tabling a bill, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that they wanted to divide the people of south Punjab.
