Envoy of Azerbaijan calls on Minister for Maritime Affairs

ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP):Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizada Friday called on Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi and discussed enhancing cooperation between the two countries in power sector to overcome energy deficit in the country.

Both the countries were blessed with natural resources and Pakistani ports would be helpful for benefiting from it the minister said.

He said Gwadar has a huge potential to invest and the whole region is going to benefit from the trade and transit routes of it.

Head of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Business Development Socar Azerbaijan Turab Musayev and his team were also attended the meeting.
