Pakistan to ‘fully enforce’ Saudi professional verification program

PESHAWAR, Feb 15 (APP):Experts of international relations, politics and economists here Friday said bilateral relations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will achieve new heights of friendship and cooperation in all fields after the historic forthcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to Pakistan.
Faud Ishaq, former President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) told APP that Pakistan and Saudi Arab are time-tested friends with deep-rooted all weather relations since long and this will further cement after the historic visit of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman who is coming to Pakistan with a high-level delegation.

He said visit of Crown Prince will open new vistas and avenues for massive Saudi investment in diversified fields in Pakistan that would bolster economy, socio-economic development and generate direct employment opportunities for thousands of skilful laborers in our country.

The SCCI leader said massive Saudi investment in different sectors will give enormous boost to economic development and bring people of both brotherly Muslim countries further closer.

He said Saudi Arabia had always stood firm with Pakistan in every difficult situation whether it was 2005 devastated earthquake or 2010 massive floods and extended full support to us by winning hearts and minds of our people. He said role of oversees Pakistan in development and economic prosperity of Saudi Arabia was also praised worthy.

He said it was a good omen that both the countries are now entering into a new era of economic cooperation that was interest of both the countries.

After a long gap, he said, such a high level visit from Saudi Arabia is being made that is a matter of great honour and joy for people of Pakistan.

He said Saudi Arab can take advantage of our skilled massive manpower and its cooperation in the fields of agriculture, oil and gas exploration and energy would be highly welcomed.

Nasir Khan Musazai, Member National Assembly said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was brotherly Muslims countries as Pakistanis have highest respect for the people and Govt of Saudi Arabia for being a holy Muslim country.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan soon after assuming the power, has paid an official visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that had reflected his Govt deep commitment to further strengthen economic cooperation and bilateral relations with KSA. The PTI leader said PM Khan’s visi to KSA remained highly successfully besides further improved bilateral relations.

He said MoUs related to diversified fields including investment, finance, energy, power, media and sports etc will help promote business, trade, generate jobs opportunities for thousands of skilful labourers and youth besides taking advantage of each other expertises’ in all the relevant fields.

Zahid Anwar, professor of International Relations Department has also welcomed visit of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and termed it a beginning of a new era of prosperity and economic development in Pakistan.

He said there is commonality of views between both the countries in most of the regional and international issues and that people of Pakistan has highest regards for Saudi Arabia for its positive role in regional peace and stability in the region.

He expressed the hope that Pak-Saudi relations will achieve new heights of cooperation after this historic visit benefiting people of both the countries.
