Pak-China relations to continue to develop in Chinese New Year: Ambassador Khalid

BEIJING, Feb 6 (APP)::Pakistan Ambassador to China Masood Khalid Tuesday said that the relations between Pakistan and China would continue to develop in the New Year, especially in the fields of education, information technology, and agriculture.
“The year 2019 has been officially designated as the Pakistan-China friendship city year, and colorful activities will be organized to commemorate this special occasion,” he said in an interview on the occasion of Chinese New Lunar Year.
He firmly believed that the friendship between Pakistan and China would continue to be strengthened in 2019 and wishes the Chinese people a happy New Year.
He said that in the past 70 years, China and Pakistan had mutual trust and mutual respect and the friendly relations between the two countries had continued to deepen. Looking back on the past, both the countries reached a number of consensuses and explored areas of cooperation in many aspects.
Pakistan, he said, would fully participate in the important activities of the second “One Belt, One Road” International Cooperation Summit, the World Horticultural Exposition, and the China International Import Expo.
The year 2019, has officially been designated as Pak-China Friendship City Year, and a variety of special events would be organized to commemorate this special moment.
