Gandapur urges international institutions to constitute Inquiry Commission to probe HR violations in IoK

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5 (APP):Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur Tuesday urged international institutions to constitute an Inquiry Commission for conducting comprehensive and impartial investigations into human rights violations by Indian occupied forces in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Adressing the inauguration ceremony of day long Kashmir Cultural Festival, organised by Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan in collaboration with Kashmir Cultural Academy, Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Federal Directorate of Education to to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said the report of the proposed Inquiry Commission would exposed the real face of India before international community.
The main aim of organising such festival was to express solidarity with the Kashmiris thorugh purely a cultural perspective.
He said the recent report of United Nations Human Rights on Indian human right violations in Kashmir has exposed the atrocities of Indian occupied forces in IoK .
Reiterating government’s stance on Kashmir, he said Pakistan would continue political,diplomatic, moral and cultural support of Kashmiris.
He lauded the efforts of Kashmiri artists, students for highlighting the culture of Kashmir and importance of Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed on February 5.
He said negotiations with India were bound to fail sans discussing Kashmir issue.
He paid tributes to the management of National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage especially Executive Director Lok Virsa and her team for organising such an enchanting event.
He said Kashmiris were bound to succeed their just legitimate struggle.
Condemning atrocities of Indian in occupied Kashmir, he said Indian atrocities are being exposed by by media of occuiped Kashmir despite curbs by Indian authorities.
