SCCI delegation discusses export challenges
SIALKOT, Nov 07 (APP):A delegation of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), led by Senior Vice President Asad Naseer Malik and accompanied by Executive Committee Member Qamar Munir, held a meeting with Shafiq Ahmed Shahzad, Director General Trade Policy, Ministry of Commerce and Managing Director of the National Compliance Centre (NCC).
During the meeting, the participants discussed key trade policy matters and emerging challenges faced by the export community, particularly in taxation, banking and the definition of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
According to SCCI, the SCCI delegation highlighted concerns affecting exporters and stressed the need for effective policy measures to facilitate the business community and enhance export competitiveness.
Shafiq Ahmed Shahzad assured the delegation that his team would visit Sialkot to engage with local business sectors and provide assistance in meeting international compliance requirements.
