According to the announcement, for Session 2026-27 and subsequent academic sessions, admissions to MBBS/BDS under the project shall be undertaken directly by the respective admitting universities, strictly in accordance with the seat allocations approved by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) and the applicable admission rules.
The HEC clarified that while it will provide scholarship funding to all those candidates who have been selected by HEC through its prescribed merit-based scholarships process, HEC shall not be responsible for admission, seat allocation or placement of candidates in medical colleges and universities.
