RAWALPINDI, Nov 04 (APP): A delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), headed by President Nosherwan Khalil Khan, held a meeting with Chairman Competition Commission of Pakistan, Farid Ahmed Tarar.
The delegation comprised Vice President Ikram Abbasi, Chairman Furniture Association Zaid Hussain, Executive Committee Member Chaudhry Khurram Aftab, RCCI Member Bilal Javed, and Sardar Saqib, former President of the Small Chamber.
During the meeting, various challenges faced by the furniture sector were discussed, with particular focus on regulatory issues concerning furniture expos and other industry-related matters.
The RCCI delegation highlighted the concerns of the business community and emphasized the need for a business-friendly regulatory framework to facilitate trade, ensure fair competition, and address the challenges faced by the furniture industry.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss industry-specific concerns and explore avenues for better coordination between the business community and the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
