DPM Dar directs inter-ministerial coordination amid chairing high-level meeting on Pakistan’s Water Security
ISLAMABAD, Nov 04 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereign rights, and directed the ministries and departments concerned to work in close coordination to advance national interests.
The deputy prime minister chaired a high-level meeting to review matters related to Pakistan’s water security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs news release said.
The meeting examined the legal, diplomatic and technical dimensions of the country’s water security. The meeting was attended by the Ministers for Water Resources and Information and Broadcasting, along with relevant federal secretaries and senior officials.
