APPSMA seeks extension in registration deadline for Punjab Youth Sports Gala
RAWALPINDI, Nov 04 (APP):The All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) on Wednesday requested the Sports Board Punjab to extend the registration deadline for the Punjab Youth Sports Gala by 15 days to ensure maximum student participation from private educational institutions.
APPSMA Central President Kashif Adeeb Jawadani dispatched a formal letter to the Director General, Sports Board Punjab, Lahore, urging the provincial administration to grant additional time for student enrollment across all districts.
In the letter, he stated that private educational institutions maintain an extensive academic network across Punjab, requiring additional time to disseminate event guidelines, conduct preliminary trials and process candidate documentations.
He noted that while the provincial initiative promoted by the Chief Minister of Punjab provides a valuable platform for talent discovery, physical fitness and student engagement, the short timeline risks excluding numerous eligible candidates from schools, colleges, and universities.
