RAWALPINDI, Nov 03 (APP): City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi is continuing its traffic awareness campaign to educate citizens particularly students about traffic rules and road safety.

On the special directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam, awareness activities are being carried out at educational institutions and other public places to promote responsible road behaviour and help prevent accidents

As part of the campaign, In-charge Traffic Education Inspector Tahira Kamal, along with her team, visited HIT University, Taxila, where she delivered a special lecture to students and teachers on traffic laws and road safety.

During the session, she highlighted the importance of following traffic rules and road safety principles, saying that their implementation plays a vital role in preventing road accidents. She added that traffic accidents do not happen simply by chance but are often caused by human negligence and carelessness.

CTO Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam said that awareness of traffic laws among young people was essential for ensuring a safer future. He added that obeying traffic rules was a hallmark of responsible and educated societies.

He further said that traffic awareness campaigns would continue at educational institutions and along major roads to promote road safety and encourage the public to follow traffic regulations.
