RAWALPINDI, Nov 02 (APP): Superintendent of Police SP Saddar Anum Sher paid a surprise visit to Kahuta Police Station and inspected the front desk, official record, moharrar office, building and other facilities.
During the visit, she issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers, directing them to ensure timely redressal of citizens’ complaints at the police station level.
She stressed that timely registration of FIRs and merit-based investigations must be ensured under all circumstances.
SP Anum Sher said that protection of citizens’ lives and property was the foremost responsibility of police, adding that all available resources were being utilised to fulfil this responsibility.
She further said that the surprise visits would continue to improve service delivery and ensure an effective system of checks and balances at all level.
