Rescue 1122 responds to 773 emergencies in October
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 02 (APP):Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded to 773 emergencies during last month, providing timely rescue and medical assistance to hundreds of people in the area.
According to its monthly performance report, Rescue 1122 received 11,880 calls during October, including 5,729 unnecessary or irrelevant calls and 5,384 information-related calls.
The emergency response teams handled 623 medical emergencies, 90 road traffic accidents, four fire incidents, 35 cases involving fights and gunshot injuries, and 20 recovery operations.
During these operations, rescue personnel provided emergency medical assistance and shifted 756 patients to hospitals, while five people died at the scenes of incidents.
The report further stated that Rescue 1122’s referral service responded to 235 emergencies during the month.
Of these, 45 patients were transferred between different tehsils within the district, while 190 were referred to hospitals in other districts.
A total of 236 individuals benefited from the referral service during this period.
