Pakistan strongly condemns Houthi missile attacks on Saudi Arabia

“Pakistan reiterates its unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its firm commitment to the Makkah Alliance,” the spokesperson said.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the Houthi ballistic missile attacks targeting the Makkah and Madinah regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including areas in the vicinity of the holy sites.

Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan, in a statement, said that these reprehensible attacks, which took place on October 24, constituted a grave violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and demonstrated a blatant disregard for the sanctity of Islam’s holiest sites and the safety of civilians.

“Pakistan reiterates its unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its firm commitment to the Makkah Alliance,” the spokesperson said.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the security, stability and defence of the Kingdom, including the protection of the Two Holy Mosques, against any external aggression or threat, besides commending the vigilance and efficiency of Saudi air defence forces in countering the attacks.
