ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP):The District Health Office Islamabad has intensified field activities to prevent dengue, with teams monitoring high-risk locations, eliminating mosquito breeding sites and raising public awareness about preventive measures.
The teams are actively conducting surveillance in vulnerable areas to identify and eliminate potential mosquito breeding grounds as part of ongoing vector control efforts.
Public awareness activities are also being carried out to encourage residents to maintain clean surroundings, remove stagnant water and adopt precautionary measures to reduce the risk of dengue transmission.
The DHO Islamabad has urged citizens to cooperate with health teams and play their part in preventing mosquito breeding to protect public health.
