ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (APP):Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, said that political stability and law and order remain the government’s top priorities, adding that the public stands firmly with the country, its armed forces and the martyrs.
Talking to the media outside Parliament House on Tuesday, he said the government had steered the country through difficult circumstances and was utilizing all available constitutional options to revive the economy, eliminate terrorism and ensure the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law.
He said the federal government was working in coordination with provincial governments to restore peace across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He added that the public had rejected elements seeking to create unrest and instability.
Responding to a question regarding constitutional move in KP, he emphasized that the objective was not to target any political party but to eliminate terrorism and protect the lives and property of the people.
Danyal said the entire nation stood alongside the security forces in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stressing that national unity and collective efforts were essential to defeating terrorism.
