An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Falak Javed by 14 days in the Jinnah House attack case and sent her back to jail.

LAHORE, Oct 12 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Falak Javed by 14 days in the Jinnah House attack case and sent her back to jail.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill passed the order after Falak Javed was produced before the court from jail following the expiry of her previous judicial remand.
The police requested an extension of her judicial remand, informing the court that a supplementary challan (investigation report) in the case was being prepared and would be submitted shortly. The court granted the request and directed the police to produce the accused again on October 26.
The case was registered at Sarwar Road Police Station under FIR No. 96/23 in connection with the attack on Jinnah House on May 9, 2023.
The FIR accuses PTI leaders of allegedly conspiring to attack Jinnah House and inciting party workers to engage in arson and vandalism. It includes charges of sedition and other serious offences.
