ISLAMABAD, Oct 11 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday on limited feeders due to ongoing development works being carried out by the district administration.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Islamabad Circle from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Service Road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid, Iqbal Town, feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle power supply will remain suspended from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Kalyal, Shahpur, Adiala, Khasala, Hamyoun-I, Dk Noor, Gulshan Abad, Rose Lane, Adyala Jail, Shehgan, Defence Road, Askari-14, PGHS, Samar Zar, feeders. Similarly, in Rawalpindi City Circle power supply will remain suspended from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Fazaia, from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Millatabad, Dk Chaudharian, Peshawar road, Askari-XI, Cob Lane, feeders. In Attock Circle electricity supply will remain suspended from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Col Sher Khan, feeder.
IESCO management apologized to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply. The sole purpose of these shutdowns was to facilitate the timely completion of development projects included construction of flyovers, underpasses, installation of new 11kV feeders, road widening and other related development activities.
