Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has added 2 more feeders of 11 KV in the list of its zero load shedding feeders with the inclusion of 11 KV Chak 190 and 11 KV Dr Noor Muhammad feeders in Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad, respectively.
HESCO declares 2 more 11 KV feeders exempt from load shedding

HYDERABAD, Oct 11 (APP):Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has added 2 more feeders of 11 KV in the list of its zero load shedding feeders with the inclusion of 11 KV Chak 190 and 11 KV Dr Noor Muhammad feeders in Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad, respectively.
The spokesman of HESCO Sadiq Kubar informed here on Sunday that so far 77 feeders had been declared exempt from scheduled load shedding in the jurisdiction of HESCO.
He told that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faizullah Dahiri announced at a ceremony in Mirpurkhas that Chak 190 feeder was also being declared load shedding free.
The CEO observed that the exemption was being given on 3 specific assurances of the area’s consumers that neither they would steal electricity, nor would they allow anyone to steal in addition to ensuring that the line losses did not cross the 20 percent mark.
He stated that he had set an objective of turning 70 percent feeders of HESCO free from scheduled outages on the back of curbing power theft and line losses.
The spokesman informed that the feeder in question was provided electricity through 153 transformers, consisting of 2969 domestic consumers in addition to 112 commercial, 25 industrial, 19 agricultural and 18 other consumers.
Kubar apprised that the 77th zero load shedding feeder was announced at an occasion in Qasimabad in HESCO’s Operation Subdivision Qasimabad.
According to him, 11 KV Dr Noor Muhammad Feeder had a total of 774 consumers and 22 transformers.
