Security Forces foil arms smuggling attempt from Afghanistan in Pishin

Security forces and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, in a joint operation under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan in Pishin district.

QUETTA, Oct 11 (APP):Security forces and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, in a joint operation under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan in Pishin district.
Security sources said that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Saranan area of Pishin district and raided a warehouse, where they seized a vehicle loaded with weapons and ammunition.
The recovered weapons included three rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, four light machine guns, one machine gun, hand grenades, rockets and a large quantity of ammunition, the sources said.
A search operation is still underway in the area to detect the possible presence of terrorist elements, they added.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan and eliminating terrorism, the sources said.
