ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP): Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has emphasized the need to improve nursing education, professional training, registration and regulatory oversight to ensure quality nursing services across the country.
He made these remarks while chairing a meeting to review the affairs of the Nursing Council, where participants discussed key issues relating to nursing education, professional standards and the effectiveness of the existing regulatory framework.
The meeting reviewed measures to address challenges facing the nursing profession, introduce institutional reforms and strengthen the delivery of quality nursing services in Pakistan.
The minister stressed the importance of maintaining high professional standards, ensuring transparency and strengthening regulatory mechanisms to improve the quality of nursing education and practice.
He underscored the need for effective oversight and institutional improvements to support the nursing workforce and enhance the overall quality of healthcare services.
