Commissioner, Rawalpindi Division and Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Salman Ghani, on Friday directed the concerned officers to expedite the resolution of pending disputes involving six housing schemes in compliance with the directions of the Lahore High Court.
RDA holds hearing on disputes involving six housing schemes

RAWALPINDI, Oct 09 (APP): Commissioner, Rawalpindi Division and Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Salman Ghani, on Friday directed the concerned officers to expedite the resolution of pending disputes involving six housing schemes in compliance with the directions of the Lahore High Court.
A detailed hearing was held at the RDA Director General’s office, attended by owners and sponsors, legal representatives and affected citizens of Metro City Gujar Khan, Bahria Town, Mega City, Mumtaz City, The Avenue and Top City.
During the proceedings, Salman Ghani heard the concerns of participants individually and reviewed outstanding issues relating to each housing scheme.
He directed the RDA Law Officer to initiate the necessary legal action in accordance with the High Court’s directions and ensure effective follow-up of pending cases for their timely resolution.
The Chief Planner, RDA, was also directed to take immediate measures to address outstanding issues and ensure timely action on complaints lodged by affected citizens.
The hearing aimed to facilitate the resolution of disputes, ensure compliance with court directions and provide appropriate relief to affected citizens.
