IHRA assesses private hospital for licensing compliance

The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has conducted a licensing assessment at Prof. Dr. Humera Zafar Hospital to evaluate its compliance with the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and ensure the provision of safe and quality healthcare services.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has conducted a licensing assessment at Prof. Dr. Humera Zafar Hospital to evaluate its compliance with the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and ensure the provision of safe and quality healthcare services.
According to official sources, during the assessment, IHRA’s evaluation team examined the hospital against prescribed MSDS indicators and prepared a comprehensive report documenting the findings.
The exercise is part of IHRA’s ongoing licensing process, aimed at ensuring that healthcare establishments meet the required standards of patient safety, quality of care and public health before being granted a licence.
The authority carries out such assessments to evaluate healthcare facilities against established regulatory requirements and promote improvements in service delivery, they added.
They said the initiative reflects IHRA’s commitment to strengthening healthcare regulation, safeguarding patients’ interests and ensuring that healthcare establishments operating in Islamabad adhere to the prescribed standards.
