An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday sentenced Habibullah, an alleged member of a banned outfit, to four years in prison in a case involving the recovery of explosive material.

LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday sentenced Habibullah, an alleged member of a banned outfit, to four years in prison in a case involving the recovery of explosive material.
The court also ordered the confiscation of his property in favour of the state.
ATC Judge Malik Abid Hussain announced the verdict after hearing final arguments from the defence and reviewing the evidence presented by the prosecution.
The accused was brought to court from jail for the hearing. Prosecutor Mian Tufail presented evidence against him, while defence lawyers Salma Iqbal and Ghalib Shamsi completed their final arguments.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Lahore, registered the case against Habibullah in January 2026. According to the CTD, explosive material was recovered from his possession, and he was linked to a banned organisation and allegedly involved in terrorist activities.
