ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP): The Institute of Art & Design, University of Sargodha, in collaboration with the Sadequain Foundation, organised a special tribute to legendary Pakistani artist, calligrapher and poet Sadequain, highlighting his enduring contribution to art, calligraphy, literature and culture.
A key feature of the event was the screening of “Raaz-e-Fun,” a short film presented by the Sadequain Foundation that traces the artist’s life, creative journey and artistic legacy.
The screening received an enthusiastic response from students and other participants, who appreciate Sadequain’s distinctive vision and contribution to the world of art.
The event also features the inauguration of a special Sadequain Art Exhibition at the Zubaida Agha Art Gallery of the University of Sargodha by Professor Tasawar Hayat, Vice Chancellor, University of Sargodha.
The exhibition showcased selected works from Sadequain’s celebrated legacy, including his Iqbal Series, Albert Camus Paris Series and calligraphic works based on Surah Rahman. Publications and books by the Sadequain Foundation were also displayed, offering students and visitors an opportunity to explore the artist’s life, philosophy and creative achievements.
A large number of students from the Institute of Art and Design participate in the event and visit the exhibition with keen interest.
They particularly appreciate Sadequain’s distinctive approach to calligraphy, painting and visual expression.
