On the other hand, the forecast of the meteorological department could not be proved correct. In terms of air pollution, Lahore has come fourth in Pakistan, while the average smog rate in the city has reached 201.
According to the air quality index, the air pollution rate around the University of Lahore was recorded at 254, while the air quality index reached 250 in Shahdara area.
According to experts, due to the increase in air pollution, citizens should take precautionary measures and avoid going to open places unnecessarily.
