DC Astore reviews progress on ongoing development projects

ASTORE, Oct 08 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Astore Neelam Ali, along with SDO Headquarters Shujaat Ali and the concerned Sub-Engineer, conducted a detailed review of various ongoing development projects in Astore district.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the ongoing construction work at different project sites, including the Rescue 1122 office. She reviewed the progress, quality of work and other technical matters and received detailed briefings from the concerned officers and field staff about the current status, completion timelines and issues faced by the projects.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to speed up work on all development projects in accordance with the approved designs and required standards. She stressed that there should be no compromise on the quality of construction materials used in the projects.
She said that timely completion of public welfare projects was among the government’s priorities and directed the concerned departments to ensure regular monitoring of the projects.
Ms. Neelam Ali emphasized that transparency, quality and sustainability should be given top priority in the construction of development projects so that the people could benefit from improved facilities for a long time.
She further directed the officials to avoid unnecessary delays and accelerate the pace of work. She said that the district administration was continuously monitoring the progress of development projects across Astore and taking all possible measures to ensure the timely completion of projects of public importance.
