Governor condemns terrorist attack on Kohat police checkpost

PESHAWAR, Oct 07 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police checkpost in Kohat and expressed concern over injuries to four police personnel.

The Governor said the police responded promptly and effectively to the attack, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists, which reflected the force’s bravery and professionalism.

Faisal Karim Kundi said the sacrifices of the police and security forces in the fight against terrorism would not go in vain, adding that the nefarious designs of terrorists would be foiled.

He prayed for the early recovery of the injured policemen and said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the police and security forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
