PESHAWAR, Oct 07 (APP): An enforcement team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) comprising Afaq Ali, Assistant Collector, and Mr. Muhammad Diyar Khan, Audit Officer, conducted compliance visits to restaurants and a wedding halls situated on Nowshera Road and Bank Road, in Mardan.
The visits were conducted to monitor business activities and assess compliance with recent notices regarding the installation and activation of RIMS.
During the visits, newly established businesses were also identified, and enrollment notices will be issued in due course.
The management of the concerned entities was guided to accurately declare their actual business activity and sales in STS returns. Ensure issuance of all applicable invoices through RIMS. Maintain strict compliance with the applicable provisions of law.
The management was briefed regarding the importance of transparent reporting and proper RIMS-based invoicing to ensure compliance with the applicable sales tax laws.
